Language Weaver was founded in 2002 by Daniel Marcu, Kevin Knight and William Wong. Kevin and Daniel were teaching at the University of Southern California and William was there as their student. Language Weaver’s vision is to accelerate human communication, removing language as a barrier for digital content. As a first step to fulfilling that vision, Language Weaver has developed translation technologies that continuously learn, and are able to translate vast volumes of content, with high speed and accuracy, resulting in translations that readers find meaningful. These technologies were initially developed for use in government and are now offered as commercial solutions.
The company is headquartered in beautiful Marina del Rey with offices in Washington DC, Brussels and Paris.
